In this context, EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Technique. It is sometimes called EFT Tapping to differentiate it from other tapping protocols as well as other uses of the acronym.
In other contexts, EFT stands for Emotionally Focused Therapy, a psychotherapy approach pioneered by Sue Johnson which emphasizes the science of adult attachment. Look up her work or the ICEEFT to learn more… but don’t confuse it with EFT Tapping!
